Physical therapist testing female patients swallowing for rehab

At ÂÜÀòÉç Rehabilitation in Jacksonville, our skilled speech-language pathologists are committed to helping patients of all ages improve their ability to communicate, think clearly and swallow safely. Whether you are recovering from a stroke, managing a chronic condition or helping your child meet important milestones, our team is here to support your progress and well-being.

What we do: Empowering communication, cognition and swallowing

Our licensed speech-language pathologists provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment for communication, cognitive, voice and swallowing disorders. We use the latest evidence-based techniques and advanced diagnostic tools to create a personalized treatment plan focused on your specific needs and goals.

Your journey begins with you

We begin by understanding what matters most to you—whether it's expressing yourself more clearly, reducing your risk of food or liquid entering the airway, regaining cognitive function after an illness or helping your child communicate effectively. Through a compassionate and goal-driven approach, we work with you or your family to develop skills that promote safety, independence and connection.

Comprehensive services that support every stage of recovery

Our speech-language pathologists provide care across a continuum—from the inpatient bedside to outpatient therapy—and collaborate closely with your medical team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated treatment. Services include:

  • Swallowing evaluation and treatment, including Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) and Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES)
  • Cognitive-communication therapy following brain injury, stroke or neurological illness
  • Aphasia and speech therapy to restore language function
  • Voice therapy in collaboration with ENT, using tools such as videostroboscopy
  • Head and neck cancer rehabilitation pre- and post-surgical intervention and radiation
  • Neurologic rehabilitation for Parkinson’s disease, ALS, multiple sclerosis and more
  • SPEAK OUT! program for Parkinson’s-related speech disorders
  • Pediatric speech and feeding therapy, including auditory verbal therapy
