My bio
Brad A. Briscoe, DNP, APRN, CNS, CEN, is an acute care nurse practitioner at ÂÜÀòÉç Family Medicine – Wildlight caring for patients 18 and older.
Prior to joining ÂÜÀòÉç, Mr. Briscoe served in the U. S. Navy and Naval Reserve, retiring at the rank of commander. His past duty assignments include emergency nurse at Naval Hospital Orlando, head of the Health Promotion Department at Naval Hospital Naples in Italy, team leader in the Emergency Medical Department at Naval Medical Center San Diego, division officer and assistant department head in the Emergency Department at Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune, division officer and assistant department head in the Emergency Medical Department at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, and medical officer, Acute Care Area and Weapons Battalion Aid Station at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, South Carolina.
Mr. Briscoe earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Louisville in Kentucky. He then received a dual Master of Science in Nursing as an acute care nurse practitioner and emergency/trauma clinical nurse specialist in 2002, followed by a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in 2013 from the University of Kentucky.
