Faculty Shine at 2024 Duval County Medical Society Annual Meeting
The University of Florida College of Medicine 鈥� Jacksonville congratulates its faculty members and residents on their outstanding achievements at the 2024 Duval County Medical Society Annual Meeting.
Sandeep Grover, MD, a professor and associate chair of the department of ophthalmology, was elected to the DCMS Board of Directors. Mark McIntosh, MD, MPH, FACEP, a professor in the department of emergency medicine and the medical director 萝莉社 Corporate Wellness, received the Clyde Collins, MD Humanitarian Award. Brian Yorkgitis, DO, was honored with the John A. Beals Award for Review.
In addition to faculty achievements and awards, two residents from the department of pediatrics were recognized for their exceptional work. Yeka Nmadu, MD, received the G. Shahin Award for Clinical Observation and Marwa Elgendy, MD, received the G. Shahin Award for Original Investigation.
